Leather Lunch Tote on Design Sponge
I'm really getting into the idea of working with leather, and will hopefully be making some cool leather clutches to add to the Rose & Rina range, so I was thrilled to find this how-to on the excellent Design Sponge blog.
It's a great way to use a piece of battered old leather you might be lucky enough to have at home, or if you are a first time leather - worker like me, can be a personal project that's also very handy.
There's a step by step tutorial on how to make this simple but cool lunch bag 'for grown ups' which I'll definitely try out once I find some sturdy enough leather.... and start making my own lunch to take to work!

Found on Etsy: Curious Creatures
Enamel Painted Brass Triangle Earrings |
| Raw Agate Necklace |
Mini Tribal Turquoise Howlite |
During some recent Etsy browsing, I came across Curious Creatures Shop. Designer maker Larissa creates these gorgeous one of a kind necklaces, earings and bracelets that are understated and effortlessly cool.
I've added a couple to my Pinterest Wishlist as they're right up my street! (And the perfect compliments to Spring/Summer 2012 'ice cream' pastel colours. The tribal turquoise necklace teamed with a cool lemon coloured shirt? Or these red coral earrings with an ice blue tea dress? Perfect.

Solange So Cool
I was browsing the Vogue Online site when I came accross these pictures of Solange Knowles from her February 'What I'm Wearing Today' diary. She is my style crush of the moment so I just had to share her fierceness!
Found on Etsy - Lazydoll
Girl with Red Balloon Original Mixed Media Illustration |
Today I stumbled across Lazydoll a shop run by Bo in Cardiff Wales, who sells the cutest coin purses and mixed media paintings of which Girl with Red Baloon is one. (pictured)
This image is so cute and the perfect gift for a little girl to hang up in her room.... check out Bo's Etsy shop and see if you aren't charmed by her paintngs too!
Closed for Business
Just a quick note to say that the Rose & Rina Etsy shop has been temporarily closed while I make some new items - this year I'll be making some new clutch bags and cute purses, mostly with distinctive west african fabrics.... here's a look at some items to come:
